Single & Double Slider Windows

Single & Double Sliding Windows

These window favourites slide horizontally, as opposed to hung windows that move vertically, making them easy upgrades for most spaces at home.  They’re:

  • Easy to open and shut
  • Large and bright
  • Quick and simple to clean
  • Energy efficient
  • Single and double sliders form an airtight seal when closed, so families who like to let the fresh air in through the warm seasons don’t lose efficiency in the winter.

Since they slide open and shut much easier than your older windows, reaching over your kitchen counter or stretching to open the window above your furniture won’t be a struggle anymore.

Take a look at the gallery to see them in a home comparable to yours.

What's The Difference?

You probably figured it out, but the only differences between single and double slider windows are:

  • Single slider windows have one sliding window section
  • Double slider windows have two sliding sections (and are often bigger)

When you upgrade to specific Energy Star single sliders (specifically, Energy Star Most Efficient certified windows with an Energy Rating of 34 or more), you can get back up to $5,000 in rebates from the Government of Ontario.

The new (and improved) Ontario Green Fund from the Government of Ontario gives green-minded families $500 back per window upgrade, to a maximum of $5,000. Click here for more information.

Or you can call to talk to a member of our team about the single sliding windows that qualify for the program.

It’s a smart upgrade that makes your home more functional and attractive, and it’s the best rebate program ever offered.
